John is a 2010 graduate of Providence College and 2013 graduate of the Villanova University School of Law. He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar and the Rhode Island Bar in the Fall of 2013. He specializes in civil litigation, having experience as both Plaintiff and Defendant’s counsel.
After graduating law school, John worked for a top regional insurance defense firm, representing national and international insurance companies and their insureds in catastrophic claim litigation, coverage disputes, and subrogation matters, pursuant to both general liability and professional liability policies. Prior to joining McCormack Suny, LLC, John was part the Business Litigation group at Wynn & Wynn, P.C., representing national banking institutions and other large corporate clients in complex business and contractual disputes, creditor litigation and bankruptcies, employment litigation, real estate title claims, and government regulatory actions.
Since joining McCormack Suny in March of 2023, John made an immediate impact, representing firm clients in complex litigation as both Plaintiff and Defendant. Recently, John assisted an out of state client in obtaining a multimillion dollar settlement in a matter involving breaches of fiduciary duties under a Limited Partnership and was part of a firm-wide effort to assist a client in prevailing in the defense of a $125 million False Claims Act litigation.
